What Can I Expect from JUVÉDERM?
JUVÉDERM treatments usually take around 15 – 30 minutes, depending on how many areas are being injected. We'll clean your skin, then mark the injection sites. JUVÉDERM fillers contain a numbing agent to reduce discomfort. You may go back to your normal routine after the procedure, but strenuous activities, like exercise, should be avoided for at least a day. You should also avoid putting your hands on your face to avoid massaging the gel into other areas.
You will likely see improvements immediately following your treatment, but you may also have some slight bruising or swelling in the treated areas for 7 – 10 days. JUVÉDERM injection results are typically visible for 12 to 18 months. We'll help you plan follow-up sessions at Spencer Wellness Centre to maintain your results.

For over 10 years I was on a search for some help, because I knew something was off. I even went to an Endocrinologist in the city, who has a good reputation, and she definitely did not hear me nor did she take the tests and I thought that she had taken to truly look at my hormones. when I went to her specifically asking for my hormones to be checked. How much does JUVÉDERM cost?
The total cost of your JUVÉDERM treatment will depend on how much is needed to achieve the look you want. Before your first injection, we'll build a custom-tailored treatment plan designed to fit your goals. From there, we can provide a cost estimate and discuss payment options.
Are JUVÉDERM injections painful?
While many patients do not find it necessary, a local anesthetic can be applied to the treatment site prior to injection if you're concerned about any pain. After the injection, you might have some slight swelling and bruising that will usually reduce over the next week. You should contact Spencer Wellness Centre if you experience any lasting discomfort or abnormal side effects after your injection.
What is the difference between a wrinkle filler and relaxer?
Injectable relaxers and fillers both help improve the appearance of facial wrinkles, but with different approaches. Wrinkle relaxers, like BOTOX®, correct dynamic wrinkles caused by frequent muscle contractions. JUVÉDERM is an injectable dermal filler that improves static wrinkles and adds volume. JUVÉDERM is designed to correct mild to moderate wrinkles or to add volume to your lips and cheeks.
What results can I expect?
You may need to wait several days to see the full improvements from your JUVÉDERM treatment. Usually, it only takes one appointment to attain a more youthful, confident appearance. However, we're happy to discuss follow-up treatments and other procedures to pair with your injections.
