Tierney Lara is a nationally certified family nurse practitioner, specializing in the evaluation and optimization of hormones for both men and women. She earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing degree at Kettering College. Before returning to earn her Master of Science degree at the University of Indianapolis, she spent 17 years in various areas of nursing, eventually finding her niche as a critical care nurse. This is where she identified a major need for — and a calling to — preventive medicine. Utilizing a wellness-based philosophy, Tierney is committed to focusing on the unique needs and goals of each individual patient. She is passionate about educating, empowering, and walking side by side with patients on their journey toward optimal wellness. Tierney practices what she advocates for her patients and always seeks to promote healthy living for herself and her family. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is certified by BioTE® Medical. She has been trained to evaluate and treat her patients’ hormonal needs using a holistic approach that utilizes natural, bioidentical hormones.
Tierney lives in Westfield, IN with her two children, Liam and Berkley. Her interests and hobbies include coaching and playing soccer, cooking, taking on new home renovations projects, and enjoying time with her friends and family.
Wonderful place! My doctor left his practice last minute and I needed to find someone new and quickly as my pellets were due to be placed the next month (can’t let those go)! I called they got me in the next month without any hesitation. All of the office staff are very great but I have to say Tierney is the best!
