What Is RADIESSE?

There are several injectable dermal fillers to choose from for facial rejuvenation. RADIESSE is a dermal filler intended for the reduction of mild and moderate lines and wrinkles on the face, and for correcting age-related volume loss. If you don't have time for frequent appointments, you'll love the long-lasting results (1 – 2 years) of RADIESSE. This filler uses calcium hydroxyapatite microspheres in a water-based gel to fill and smooth areas of your face. RADIESSE is minimally invasive and approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to safely and effectively add volume to your facial features. It can be used with other injectable treatments (wrinkle fillers and relaxers) in a customized plan if preferred. Get the refreshed and confident look you want with RADIESSE dermal fillers at Spencer Wellness Centre in Indianapolis and Brownsburg, IN.

What Are the Benefits of RADIESSE?

You may be interested in decreasing the signs of aging but not in the upkeep of a few different dermal filler treatments. For our Indianapolis, IN patients drawn to longer-lasting injectable treatments, RADIESSE can be an outstanding rejuvenation method, offering advantages such as:

  • Smooth and natural-looking outcomes
  • Improvements you can love for a year or longer
  • Smoothing out creases and wrinkles
  • Improving your aesthetic confidence

What Can I Expect from RADIESSE Fillers?

You can receive RADIESSE dermal injections in one of the treatment rooms at Spencer Wellness Centre after a brief consultation. The process takes around 30 – 60 minutes. You will sit in a treatment chair while we clean and mark the injection sites. Many patients feel some mild discomfort during their injections, but if needed, we can offer a numbing agent. The RADIESSE is delivered carefully with an ultra-fine needle. A cold compress will then be applied to the treated areas to minimize bruising and swelling.

You may have some bruising, redness, and swelling following your session. This is normal and should last for around a week but can be covered with makeup. If the side effects last longer, call Spencer Wellness Centre so we can help. Many patients see some results right away with final results emerging after a month or so. Your face should appear younger, softer, and more radiant. RADIESSE tends to last longer compared to some other fillers — around 1 – 2 years. You can talk to a member of our team during your appointment about how to maintain your results.

Look Radiant with RADIESSE

RADIESSE gets positive reviews from patients because it delivers wonderful outcomes. If you want to learn more about RADIESSE dermal filler injections, please contact Spencer Wellness Centre in Indianapolis or Brownsburg, IN today to schedule an appointment with our team of experts.

How much does RADIESSE cost?

The cost of your RADIESSE treatment will depend on how much product is needed for your desired look. During your initial consultation at Spencer Wellness Centre, we will listen to your concerns and goals before developing a custom treatment plan. After that, we can provide a cost estimate and discuss payment options.

How does RADIESSE compare to other fillers?

Injectable wrinkle fillers all have unique formulas and properties to help with a wide range of concerns. Common filler materials are hyaluronic acid (HA), CaHa (calcium hydroxyapatite), poly-L-lactic acid, and PMMA (polymethylmethacrylate). RADIESSE is composed of calcium-based microspheres, which are comparable to HA dermal fillers since both prompt the natural production of collagen. In your consult, we will explain the different fillers and evaluate your facial volume, laxity, and tone to help you decide which one matches your needs.

Are RADIESSE injections painful?

Generally, patients do not need any form of numbing before their injection treatment. However, numbing cream can be provided to relieve any concerns you may have. Most patients only have slight discomfort as the needle goes in.

Does RADIESSE have any side effects?

Most patients experience mild bruising, numbness, or itching after their RADIESSE treatment, but these should disappear wtihin a day or two. When administered by experienced providers like the team at Spencer Wellness Centre, RADIESSE carries a low risk of side effects. During your initial appointment, we'll discuss your medical history and any allergies you might have before deciding if RADIESSE is a suitable treatment for you.

What other procedures can I combine with RADIESSE?

RADIESSE pairs nicely with a variety of injectable and nonsurgical treatments. Some patients combine their RADIESSE injections with other cosmetic injectables (like BOTOX®) to create a more refreshed look. We invite you to ask during your consultation about any other procedures we can recommend.
